The Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has announced the UPESSC UP PGT Recruitment 2026. This is a golden opportunity for candidates aiming to become Post Graduate Teachers in various subjects across boys and girls schools in Uttar Pradesh. A total of 2607 vacancies are available, including 2329 vacancies for boys and 278 for girls school cadres. Candidates with a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed degree are eligible to apply.

Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in multiple stages:
- Written Examination: 360 Marks, consisting of 120 Objective MCQs in 2 hours (30 questions on General Knowledge, 90 on relevant subject)
- Interview: 40 Marks
- Document Verification and Medical Examination
Marking Scheme: +3 marks for each correct answer, -1 mark for each wrong or multiple answers.
